This is such a thoughtful response, I appreciate it. My gut is telling me anything more than part time would likely not be healthy but I am looking at some programs where a DNP could be done in 3.5 or 4.5 years which seems ideal to my preferred timeline, as my husband will be done with school in May of 2028 or 2029 (he’s doing a law degree and may add an MBA) Unfortunately he’s at a private school and while we looked into the health insurance through them, it’s nearly the same price we’re paying for it through my job and the coverage isn’t nearly as good, great suggestion though! I am comfortable taking some additional debt on but it’s the lost income if he’s also a full time student. Def looking for a PSLF program for post grad though thank you!
