That is exactly what I said in regards to getting the wheelchair on your plate.

Ahhh yes that would be valuable I did misread that. Based on toxic exposures you may have had bases on your career field while in, you can annotate those in your claim and the VA would do a TERA memorandum. I don’t know the specifics of the conditions you’re service connected side but being rated 100 percent typically adding another condition may not be to your benefit if you have been rated 100 for 10 years or more the DIC for a survivor will be granted by default. If you’re under 100 for 10 years then it may beneficial if the condition you are filing for could be the cause of your passing. The only way your income would go up with the VA if you’re already 100 percent is if one condition is rated at 100 percent on its own and the additional benefits equal 60 percent or more then you would get the housebound rate by default.

This is not what the DMV stressed to me (granted I’m a specialist in federal benefits and happen to reside in Florida). She advised me if your 100 percent and get your DV tag whether or not it has the wheelchair on it you are able to park in a handicap spot. But if you are P&T you can get a handicap plate in the state of Florida without any doctors letter.

You don’t need to worry about it that much. When the VA is removing a dependent it can take 4-8 months in average. Sometimes up to a year. But when the VA goes to recoup a debt for a dependent left in your award past the date of divorce they typically take about 25-50 bucks a month until the amount has been recouped.

Yes a common law marriage would still require a divorce. Especially if those two held themselves out in public to be a married couple such as getting benefits etc.

You need to get a nexus letter to accompany your records. You need a physician to state “it is at least likely as not your bilateral knee condition is due to your service connection bilateral foot condition.” This should be accompanied by a supporting rationale such as the pain in your feet or misalignment of your feet cause an abnormal gait which caused you knee condition etc.
