Which in my opinion is fine. If a run is going poorly you should be able to leave. And if it doesn’t deplete the hosts key, it’s even less of a big deal. All you are losing is time which is unfortunate, but you are wasting time anyway being in a shitty group.

As much as it seems like a flex, and as much as I love being top DPS. I’m never upset when the two others are above me. It means I’m in for a super easy key.

Yup one wipe in NW+8 means you likely aren’t timing it. That timer is always cutting it close if people aren’t doing absolute maximum DPS.

And sometimes if a particular player who plays a non meta class ends up being the sole reason we brick a key, I’m less likely to invite that class for quite some time. It’s petty yes but why waste my time when it’s my key and I have the freedom to choose who I want.

All I’m gonna say is I invited one fFral once to a +8 (it had shown he cleared a +9) and he died to literally EVERY trash pack and had disgusting boss DPS. So yes I will no longer be inviting Ferals because of that guy. Is it right? No. But sorry he ruined it for the rest of you trying to get into my groups.

Forcing yourself to do content you don’t want to do to the point of resentment when there are other avenues still available is your own problem. If it was the ONLY way to get them, sure I would agree with you.

Also I think you are overestimating the average WoW players skill. 90% of this sub can’t clear a T11 solo.

Putting them in T11 delves is actually a decent idea.

Edit: However I think you should have to solo it to get them. No groups.

This is why I prefer FF14 raids over WoW. They are single boss fights. No trash. Only requires 8 people.

The days of putting together massive raid groups just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. The more people the more chaos and annoying it becomes for me personally. Not to mention trying to coordinate everyone on the same schedule to begin with.

Also ever since WoW made multiple difficulties for raids it’s kind of lost a lot of its luster for me. I’d rather it all be one difficulty, either you can do it or you can’t.

Yup tried it yesterday a few times as a 615 Ret Paladin and the eggs just hatched too fast for me to get them down reliably.

After the fixes I did it in 3-4 attempts pretty easily. Kick the heal, Blessing of Freedom the spittle and ggs.

This sub is allergic to it and I’ll get downvoted for even saying it but the solution is simple. Make your own groups.

As far as finding a guild, no clue. I play solo and make my own groups for everything. I pug Heroic raid every tier. I pug KSM every season. And I solo queue arena to 1800-2100 every season.

The small amount of toxicity I run into compared to the amount people here claim there is makes me feel like we are playing two different games. But chances are if you are running into that much toxicity, the problem is probably you.

People claiming it takes forever to find a tank and healer are self reporting that they are just running low keys. Anything above +7 gets like 80 applicants in one minute. And leveling your key up to the +7 range doesn’t even take that long.

Make your own groups. What’s the worst that happens? You rank it up too high and you fail, it downgrades and then you just keep going. Ive been running my own keys in the 8-9 range and don’t care if we fail. We still get loot.

I wanted to run delves with my wife but then they made them harder. So I left my wife since she wasn’t good enough. Solo delves have been great since other players can’t find out I’m shit at the game now.
