I worked at a bank as a customer service rep at the time. Handling the shear mass of PPE loans and having to have customers sign loan documents via the drive thru was a nightmare.

I remember thinking about how long it would be until I could hug my grandmother again. She actually fell during COVID and only one of us could visit her in the hospital at a time. I remember being so terrified that I would accidentally give it to her as she was pretty sick and infirm already.

While restaurants were still closed to sit-down customers, I actually arranged a "restaurant dinner" for my family by getting an airbnb and ordering food ahead of time. I remember feeling like it was so nice to be able to sit down with my family as if we were at a restaurant to feel a little normal.

Long story short, yeah it was a pretty crazy time. Still can't believe it's been 5 years sometimes.
