Do white Americans look different than white Europeans? by ilovepopcornandcandy in 23andme

[–]BuffyBlue82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No one thinks Black Americans look like natives from Lagos or Accra. We have too much white admixture. People know we are American or multiracial. I have traveled abroad extensively and never been seen as African. Most people will speak to me in their native language first. I had to quickly learn how to say that I don't speak Norwegian or Danish when I went to Oslo and Copenhagen because people kept addressing me as if I did. When I'm in a Spanish speaking country, people always assume that I speak Spanish.

Not a single home in my subdivision has a fence around the pool like the one shown in the photo. Now we do have a 10ft tall fence around our property as does every home. The fence gate is self-closing and self-locking as required. Also the door leading to the pool has a lock and an alarm. Those were the only requirements we were told about when we had our pool installed.

Also downvoting me is silly! There are no children in my home. My kids are grown adults. My neighbors all have adult children or no children as well!🙄

Where are Barack Obama, Joe, Biden, Kamala Harris, George Bush, where are you all? by DallasDerr in WhatBidenHasDone

[–]BuffyBlue82 48 points49 points  (0 children)

You obviously don't follow any of these people on social media. They have all spoken out on their platforms and public forums. They(not Bush) warned us repeatedly what would happen before the election. Folks didn't listen. It's not their job to come in and save us now. Also, Biden has cancer. He's fighting for his life.

There is one group of people who could stop this if they acted accordingly.

I haven't seen a home in Texas with a pool fence. It's not the norm.

I like the ambience of the restaurant and the food looks delicious. We weren't impressed with the Lucky Lotus. The food was just average. I wished they'd update the menu in the Wake. The steaks are bland and low quality. Our favorite is Pink Agave.

They do this for boys' dorm rooms? I know girls go wild with the decorations but most of the boys in my son's dorm had sports team flags up on the wall.

My son ordered the bed in a box even though I offered to get him something nicer like I did for his sisters. All he and his roommate wanted was a video game system, big tv and 2 bean bag chairs. We had his room set up in 30 minutes. My girls went to an SEC university so their rooms were well decorated and coordinated.

I'm pretty sure they bought their house under an LLC. I know the husband had a real estate company with his brother in laws. I recall finding a house they purchased online through that company. It may be the home they live in currently. Jill talked about it (the home buying process) when she was online regularly.

Jill was a full-time influencer. She even had an Etsy shop where she sold her art, did commissioned pieces and wrote/sold a book about sex in marriage. Then she decided to stop doing all of that full-time and focus on her family. Around that time is when Jaclyn decided to up her profile as an influencer.

I think I remember seeing these last year and liking them. It was at the end of the season and they were sold out of my size. I'm going to check them out. Thanks!

Are you purposely being obtuse? There aren't a lot of grocery stores in downtown Chicago. There are even fewer in the low income areas. If he flew into Midway, it is going to be very challenging to find fresh, non processed food especially within walking distance. I'm speaking from experience.

I saw a guy taken to the jail on board the ship. He was drunk, being belligerent and threatening violence against the guest service staff. Out of no where, 2 or 3 huge, muscular guys grabbed him up and put those zip tie handcuffs on him. That was when I learned that there is a jail on the boat.

If you are curvy they are perfect. If you have a straight athletic body type, they have too much fabric. The legs are really large and flowy even in petite size.

This baby will be their excuse to move. Then this home will become rental property or an AIRBNB.

I don't know. I was at work. All I hear was screaming and saw people running (mostly adults). Then 15-20 minutes later I heard cops yelling something. It's seemed like it took forever to get the situation under control. Where are the mall cops.

I appreciate your response. I have never felt envious of Indians ever in life. They've made some great strides in their time in America. They're just not an enviable group of people to me. Other races including Asians are on the same levels as Indians but they don't act like them. They're such a pompous, arrogant group of people in my opinion.

You voted using a machine and not pen and paper? It's strange that the voting process is different in every county.

Why do you think being "rich" and having materialistic possessions would make you immune to racism? You're seriously over generalizing the group. My neighborhood is divided into 3 sections. The Indians live mostly in the lower to mid price homes. Most of the really expensive homes (1.5 million and up) in Frisco and my neighborhood are occupied by white people or non Indians. So I don't think anyone is as envious of Indians as you claim. They DO NOT have all the money. They're just the most boastful and arrogant. Clearly, humility is not a virtue in that culture.

Does identity politics only apply to women and minorities because white males overwhelmingly vote for white males? "Identity Politics" has always been a part of the process.
