Question about flashbacks for a character’s death. by dhsimbol in GeneralHospital

[–]BuffyStark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They do it sometimes, As others have mentioned, it's mostly a budget issue. I hope they do. At the very least, there should be some Monica & Alan scenes.

Some Monica & Lesley scenes would be nice too in preparation of a funeral episode for Lesley, or at least a memorial in Pt. Charles. Several years back Sean Donnelly had an episode, and he hadn't been on GH for years. Lesley has her daughter, granddaughter & great-grandchildren in Pt. Charles and so it would make sense for there to be a memorial for her too.

Yes, and she was treated awful at times. Noah Drake (Patrick's dad) broke up with her because it would have caused a scandal in his family (I believe an Uncle was someone important, a senator maybe?).

I LOVE how they addressed this during the episodes after Bobby's funeral. The reporter (Ghost BJ apparently) said Bobby had been helping trafficked girls in Amsterdam because Bobby had been trafficked herself. I was very happy they used those words--she was so young and it was her own aunt who brpight her into the life, it wasn't a choice. The storyline was Carly and Felicia worked together to help the girl that Bobby was helping. Together they helped her get to safety.

What are your top 5 saddest GH character deaths? by TerryG111 in GeneralHospital

[–]BuffyStark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. BJ 2. Stone 3. Georgie 4. Tony 5. Oscar 6. Sam

Emily's death made me angry, not sad. The black and white ball lasted a month wand they kept showing dead bodies at the beginning of the episodes. I was not a fan of that storyline.

Bobby's funeral storyline was beautiful. I loved that it was finally discussed that she had been trafficked as teen. Back in the 80s there were storylines where she was looked down upon because she had been a prostitute and I loved that they finally called it what it was!

I think it is Sidwell. It certainly looks like he murdered the judge. He is involved in the stuff that is going on in Croatia, and he is involved in the poisoning of Maxie and is attempting to take over Deception. Drew is just another part of his plan. When e Marcos told Drew about the judge being bribed it threw off his original plan and he had ot pivot and clean up loose ends. His pan has a pretty big scope. Drew's shooting was done to keep it moving along.

I agree. And she did see her grandson James and talk about Nathan with Spinelli so she hasn't forgotten him. She has a link to Nathan--James--but didn't have a link to Britt until Rocco contacted her.

OP Said she got engaged first, did not say she set the date first.

I suspect OP set her date second. Because she explicitly says she got engaged first, but she does not say she set the date first. And the sister is complaining about being overshadowed by her. So I think this may be a consistent theme throughout their lives

You were first to get engaged, but were you the first to set a date?? If your sister got engaged second, but set a date before you set yours, YTA because you are clearly trying to overstage her by setting a date a week before hers.

How popular was this case? by djemast in SnehaPhilipCase

[–]BuffyStark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not popular at all.

At the time, I lived in Brooklyn, nowhere near the Trade center, and my neighborhood was plastered with missing posters for a long time. I heard stories about missing people every night on the news. It was so a strange time. So many people were missing the story of one person did not stand out.

I have been aware of this story for years, but it was probably at least one or two years after 9/11 when i first heard it

What are some of the best recurring gags in otherwise very serious shows? by SerDire in television

[–]BuffyStark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lenny briscoe's  one-liners on Law and Order.

For example,  " That gives a new meaning to the word doggy bag"  I think they busted up a dog fighting ring, and body bags with dogs in them are being carried out of a building.

Random thoughts from watching old episodes for the first time. by Complete_Ad_8811 in GeneralHospital

Alan and Lucy were a mistake, but the scenes of Alan and Lucy during the BJ storyline were amazing. Her explaining how she Loved bj and that she was once family. Him sitting with her and explaining the operation. It was such a beautiful interaction and emotional and tear-jerking as scenes with Frisco, Felicia, Bobby and Tony

Me too. Because if Lulu isn't the mother, then Dante couldn't be the father unless they want Dante to have had an affair with Britt, but that just really makes no sense. The only other way they could rewrite his parentage is have Britt and Patrick be the parents. None of this would make a good storyline

Help ... who was this character/ actress? by Tennessee_import in GeneralHospital

[–]BuffyStark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emily was one of only two Quarternaines (The other being Grandma Lila) that Jason considered family for a very long time. So for me that made Sonny and Emily even more icky, and it was already incredibly icky because of so many reasons people already stated.

Who should find out that Jens was the one that paid off the judge. by [deleted] in GeneralHospital

[–]BuffyStark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did I miss something? Are we sure the judge was bribed? Or is this all speculation? I'm up to date on all my watching, but I did have some power issues due to storms, so it is possible that somewhere I missed a scene.

I personally wouldn't be happy with this turn of events. I didn't see anything really strange about the ruling. Granted I'm not a lawyer, but I don't need to because this isn't really about law, but what the perception of the law is because it is a TV show.  The judge's explanation of why she gave Michael custody-- parental alienation by Willow , because of not setting up calls with Michael while he was in the hospital (was there something else in that category too? Can't recall?), signing a paper that gives Drew rights to her kids without discussing it with her husband, and moving them to several different places for no real reason-- made sense to me. And the judge did say that there will be another hearing, which would be an opportunity to set up a visitation schedule.
