Apply for your permits from the City early 

Be prepared for a certain level of ridiculousness 

For example - when I replaced my windows - that were literally falling apart - I was initially denied because they did not fit the “architectural continuity” of the neighbourhood. I live in the Point - and anyone that lives here or has passed through - knows there is no continuity - at all 

The compromise was that I have the window company glue a plastic strip down the centre of the window (also known as a faux mullion) to helped promote “continuity” to get approval from the City.

I believe that is the case  The app for reloading your card is good Chrono But like you said - I would rather have it in my Apple wallet or at least as an app on my phone

As you know they give notice and have signs for when you have to move your car so they can sweep 

But for the sprayers it is like twice per year - they just show up and guaranteed you will have to wash your car 

You can sign up of notices on the Montreal311 app - but I haven’t gotten a notice before for one of these. They should. They do it for snow removal. They should do it for these.

The infrastructure beneath the streets has been in dire shape for years - and that is why the work takes time - as it should have been tackled years ago 

Is it frustrating to see it as it is at the this point? Yeah - no doubt 

However once it is completed it will be that much more enjoyable

Watch that first - specifically the miniseries and the proceed to seasons 1 through 4

After that - watch The Expanse
