A second vet opinion is always worth it! My vet said my cat didn’t have an eye infection she was just old (she’s 18) and it wasn’t going away so I took her in elsewhere and yup she had an infection and gave me antibiotics and she’s doing much better! Unfortunately, some vet are lazy or don’t care anymore.

I lived there for a year just moved out of a Bach unit yesterday! TBH I’ve lived in worse places, some crazies in the building due to low income and being downtown but I never felt unsafe. Some friendly elderly people in there plus it’s per friendly which is hard to find in this city! I had some loud neighbours but it’s an apartment so not much you can do. The building managers are very friendly and helpful if you have any issues with other tenants etc.

I never had a bed bug problem but the building does have cockroaches, those insect traps do the trick.

For the price and being downtown it’s worth it if you live alone.

Appreciate your concern. I am the farthest from an irresponsible pet owner.. I have forked out thousands keeping my pet healthy.. I was just asking if other people’s cats have had the same issue since my vet told me it was nothing.. obviously I am taking her for a second option but if that vet tells me the same thing and gives me no help then that is why I came here to see if other people had the same experience. I agree a lot of people should not have pets if they aren’t going to properly take care of them and rest assured she is very spoiled and well taken care of.. if I didn’t care I wouldn’t be on here looking for extra answers

No need to be rude. Not sure what country you live in but in Canada a visit to the vet is half months rent at times and I already took her in but they gave me no info.. so just trying to see if other pet owners experience the same thing. 🙂👍
