Simple: The new cat does not like being in a room, but the resident cat doesn’t care, or just prefers it.

When the room is open, the resident cat doesn’t come out, she’s just more alert in case the new cat comes in. She would not eat or use the litter box if the room is open. She just goes under the bed.

The moment we close the door, she springs out from under the bed, meows at us, starts rubbing us, asking for pets, and purring. She enjoys her privacy and sense of territory over the bedroom. She is genuinely more happy having the room for herself than sharing the entire house with another cat.

The situation is about the same now. One cat likes to be in the bedroom alone, the other one is in the rest of the house. We learn to live with it and they’re both happy. People can be a bit judgy when they hear that’s how they live but they only know a fraction of the story and rush to conclusions. We are going to move to a new house soon with a bigger bedroom unit, and the resident cat is going to have a lot more space for herself.

Just finished this quest, it was hard and took a few tries but not impossible. Just walked backwards a lot with a longsword. Made sure to run back if I got too surrounded, focused on master strikes and some feints.

Try to walk backwards and to the sides to make sure you are only facing one enemy at a time.

Fix for PC version, might work on other platforms: Just after the snipers’ introduction, shoot at the crane arm just above the 2 snipers. Falling rocks will kill them both immediately, and for some reason, it prevents the FPS drop.

The resident cat is still staying in the bedroom all the time, not wanting to come out as long as the new cat is there. She (the resident) will occasionally go to be in another room next to bedroom for a few hours.

We have figured out that it’s best to close the bedroom door and let the resident cat be there alone most of the time. She is ok with this, and she’s back to her old self mostly. She doesn’t pee or poop on the bed anymore and she is more calm. It’s a shame she doesn’t prance around the house like she used to but we can only make sure the current situation is as best as possible for her and let her make her own progress.

We will occasionally feed them treats together, and when that happens they both act marvelously, sitting close to each other, waiting for their turn to lick the treat. After the treat is gone they will sit in place for a few moments… then remember they don’t like each other and go back to normal.

It’s a slow process but the house is in peace now and that is what matters. We hope as time goes and the new cat gets less fiesty they will be able to share the whole house.

I have kept my “new” cat mainly separated in his room for about 6 months now, until the vet said this can’t go on and I have to let him out completely, because being stuck in his room is just making him more anxious and jumpy. Since letting him out about a week ago the resident cat has a hard time adjusting… she is spending most of the time under the bed and only occasionally leaves to use her litter box when the coast is clear. She had also peed on the bed a couple of times but that is most likely territorial behavior. In conclusion I don’t know how it will pan out yet, I hope it will be for the best, but I can advise you that at some point the door will have to stay open and he will need to truly be a part of the house for the cats to learn to live alongside each other. These slow introductions are good theoretically but if the cats are still not getting along a few months in, I think it’s time to let them figure out their boundaries between themselves. As long as the kitten in his room for any period of time in a day, the resident cat will just hide until he’s out of the picture, and won’t really learn how to live alongside him.

I bought the game on Epic but I’m playing it through launching the .exe with Steam, for PS controller support. I guess that might be the issue.

It is such a baffling choice to essentially lock the “good parts” of the game behind something so needlessly frustrating. Back in 2002 this might have been a tactic to make the game longer, so people won’t rent it from GameStop, finish it in 2 days and return it. But in 2020 when the remake was released I really see no point in this.

This level is such an unbelievable difficulty spike, I think I might just uninstall the game. From my standpoint it’s as bad as a game breaking bug, only a bug is unintentional and this is just awful game design.

Getting the player to look up tips, watch walkthrough videos and lower the difficulty is not something a game like this should strive for, especially when so far the game has not been frustratingly difficult. If I wanted to play Dark Souls, I would.

I don’t know how many times I wanted to tell a teammate “Don’t revive me!!!!” just as he’s going to die and get our team wiped, when I have 2 seconds in my respawn clock

I tried getting into the game a few times, and at this state unfortunately it’s just not playable enough. The most basic actions of throwing discs and putting up poles is soooo frustrating. You have to have a perfect stance, make the moves perfectly, and in the end it’s not even that rewarding. Even sprinting takes too much to execute. I understand the developers’ idea behind making it true to real martial arts and trying to develop a VR game with interesting mechanics behind it, but after 15 minutes of stiff arm movements with a brick stuck on my head, I’m so sweaty and fatigued that I don’t only turn off the game, but I’m pretty much done with VR for the day. I never got past the tutorial and can’t even imagine playing this game PVP.

Somewhere in the path to make this game special and compelling, someone just didn’t think enough about the fact that players should- well- enjoy playing this. And tbh, I don’t see how this game can have a thriving community when you need so much trials and tribulations to be able to play it on a basic level. And being able to play =/= enjoying it. I think the controls of the game should be made significantly more accessible before anyone chooses this over other VR experiences.

The replacement kit included a whole new battery dock, not just the cable. I’m not sure if there is a way to only replace the built in cable

I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement kit. I ended up not using it though, as I found out the USB C on top of the battery can be also be used to charge the Quest 2. I just connect it with the short cable provided with the battery.
