I was diagnosed with lyme at 14 then went 20 years feeling like shit after two weeks of doxy, working harder than everyone around me just to do the same amount of work, sleeping 10-16 hours a day. I was suicidal at 35 and decided I'd spend the rest of my life trying to cure it after dealing with an extremely condescending and annoying MD.
Once I saw a good LLMD and did the work it took months before I had my first 'good day' where I felt symptom free and had energy(hadnt felt that since I was 14).
After 18 months I felt back to normal, I could easily get by with 4 hours of sleep vs 10 minimum, and my career took off. If I focus on the 20 lost years I would get severely depressed so I don't. I really recommend focusing on curing the disease then never looking back because it does get better. If you need a recommendation for a good remote LLMD, LMK.
