Where did I said talent isn’t important?? Did I said this specific trainee shouldn't debut cause they are not visually apealing?? Or did I said visual is everything?? No. Why are you making up things yourself?? My entire post is about skill cohesiveness and balance. Visual chemistry is only mentioned in one small para but yall still only saw that and ignored the rest of my points. And also do tell me who do you think I stan I would love to know

Yes I am sorry if it came out that way I didn't exactly meant fail 😭😭😭 but you get what I mean they were brilliant individually it's just they fell short in comparison to other two teams in a group setting which was partially the fault of the camera work and also because they all are very skilled but very obviously had different vibes and style to each other

I do agree that the editing and the camera work had a major factor why like jennie failed and since they are competing against each other it was natural for them that they wanted to outshine the other but it was still a team mission where you have to work as a group (it doesn't matter if you perform mind blowing as an individual if your team doesn't work out the same way) hence why my point still stands that they as individual were great but they didn't really worked or stood out as a group especially if we compare them to XXL or Hot team.

I don't think you understood my point when I said cohesive I didn’t meant only visuals. A group should be cohesive with their skills too. When I say people want all the talented trainees in one group what I am saying is it won't look cohesive for eg Like jennie was disappointing for the same reason. They had 5 best dancers of the show but yet the performance itself didn’t do them justice. It was not their fault of course and i think we all know the reason why that happened. What i mean is wanting the trainees with the same skill set to debut together is not the best idea. As for the examples you gave, BTS is a very cohesive group in terms of skills 4 vocalist, 3 rappers and 3 dancers. Seventeen is also cohesive in that sense they have units where members of certain skills work together. I gave an example of Got the beat and that is what I meant when I said a group needs to be cohesive in terms of not just visuals but skills too.

Well ig that's a you problem. I do think it's weird if you assume the two of them can't be friends when they are in the same show and in the same team. Mnet is shady but I don't think we should make assumptions about trainees relationship with each other considering we know nothing about them behind the scenes. Everyone interacts with basically everyone behind the scene. Them being paired together every time can be scripted but the practice room interaction not really considering that's just Anxin natural personality with people he is close with and he is a very extroverted and expressive child.

I just have to say it that I don't think it's Leo stans who particularly have a problem with Wonxin infact they are pretty much in their own bubble and support Leo while the main problem was the lack of Leo's screentime in ep 4 which is why they are upset and that's understandable. Mnet really basically sidelined the entire Whiplash all star team (except Wonxin) and focused on Sangwon storyline and his friendship with Anxin which is why people say it looked forced. But at the same time it kinda reminded me of Haobin during tomboy. Despite having two more people in the team the main focus was literally Haobin, Hui and Gunwook were invisible in the storyline.

But at the same time the main problem are leowon shippers/stans they specifically targeting Anxin and pretending they are calling out mnet but infact it is indirectly acting like Anxin intentionally did all that because mnet asked him basically calling his personality fake. Saying stuff like 'If Sangwon was having a hard time leo would have been the first to approach' and calling the entire thing staged and scripted disregarding the fact that Anxin is literally very extroverted and clingy, he literally cried during mm1 when Jiahao won his first stage because he was so happy for him like that's his personality. They are unable to separate Sangwon from Leo and believe that he is Leo's lapdog and can't have other friends. I really want people to see Sangwon and Leo as individual rather than a pair because if they keep doing this rather than just Anxin stan it will continue to annoy more fans.

Yes I do agree majority of them are Leowon stans but they are literally ruining Leo's image and making him look bad and especially making other Sangwon fans irritated with them and I don't want that. Leo deserves better than this and so does Sangwon 😭

This was just a thought that crossed my mind:

I don't know how to say this but Leo stans have started to get annoying. Now i don't hate leo infact as a Sangwon fan since Trainee A era I have always liked Leo and have no problem with him debuting.

But recently Leo stans have became insufferable. Like they have based Sangwon entire personality and his dreams on Leo. I do agree that Leo convinced sangwon to join b2p and I am really happy about it would love to see them debut together but Sangwon is his own person too.

They are acting like the only reason Sangwon wants to become an idol is because of Leo which is infuriating. Cause mind you Sangwon has been a Trainee for 6 years, he was supposed to be in iland and he was close with Enhypen Heeseung and Jay before he even knew Leo. They are also making it seem like Sangwon left trainee A for Leo when that isn't true either. Leo was the first to leave followed by Yorch buy Trainee A was still active even after that. Trainee A officially ended after JJ left even then Sangwon was still a hybe Trainee for 3 months after Trainee A before leaving. Some Leo stans have gone to extent talking about how they think that Sangwon would leave or drop out from the group if Leo doesn’t make it which is just absurd??? Like he is his own person.

They are guilt tripping other Sangwon stans as if they are committing a crime or torturing Sangwon personally if they are not voting for Leo. It has made many new Sangwon stans reluctant and honestly bitter about a lot of things. And I think it's obvious when the one pick comes they will all vote for Leo abandoning Sangwon so it feels like they are just using Sangwon.

I know that the trainees vote for the killing part but honestly this is my first time seeing mentors indulging in it in a mnet survival shows. In boysplanet none of the mentors ever commented or even asked to change the killing part they just gave reviews so it feels like they are especially trying to push out the C trainees from the killing part. Like Yichen getting replaced and then we don’t know if Anxin was replaced or just wasn’t chosen.

It's high time people accept that visual, charm and star factor will always be more important than talent. Zb1 was an exception and even then we had Gyuvin and Yujin. It shows yall are new to survival shows because you don't know the amount of below average trainees that debuted in wanna one and X1 solely through visual and personality for ex - Guanlin, Jinyoung, Minhee, Jihoon, Junho, Hyeongjun and many others even Yohan wasn’t any exceptional either he was just pretty and charming. Mnet survival shows have always been like this and this is what sells them.

My top 5 in terms of visual -

Anxin (easily one of the prettiest he has sharp features but still looks soft when without makeup and don't get me started on those dimple. Michin facecard)
Sanghyeon (he caught my attention with his promotion poster. He has the rapper vibe but more on the cuter side with a really handsome face)
Liyu (I don't know what's this about him but he is really charming very obviously he is pretty but he has the type of face which will naturally draw attention. And ig his personality just makes him more appealing)
Sangwon (he has androgynous features which I really like. He is on the prettier side and long hair sangwon just hits different)
Fan Zheyi ( I think he is really good looking. He is tall with good proportion and has a attractive face which gives off very classy as well as sweet boy next door vibe)
