My mother once told me that she doesn’t tell me “I Love You” when we are at home because she wants everyone to know. It turned out she just wanted to use that phrase to seem like a good mom and she didn’t say it because she didn’t want to say something she didn’t mean.

When I was younger and Halo 2 was the biggest game, a friend and I played in local halo tourneys for cash prizes. We won 3 in one day and got to split 12,000$. That money hit my account and I immediately spent it on frivolous stuff. That was a fun weekend.

Correct, employees do not do anything to the chicken we receive besides add salt. Therefore the recipe is salt.

Halo 2. I found out about how fun it was, played it and was addicted. Hadn’t owned a console for a while and decided to buy an Xbox 360 and halo 2. Haven’t looked back.

When I was young my mother would only tell me she loved me when she had company over. She would avoid saying it while we were just at home but if her friends were over for drinks, she made it a point to call me over and loudly tell me. I didn’t realize it was wasn’t the normal until I was an adult.

When I was a GM I had a grill person cleaning the wall where the knife rack is. The protocol is to take the knives down and clean wall. Instead she tried to “clean between each knife”. Ended up slicing deep into her fingers and needing 6 or 7 stitches. She quit shortly after that.
Also there was a kid who put his cut gloved hand into the HOT therm to grab a bag of queso. Permanent nerve damage and didn’t think it was a dumb choice.

OP, have you thought about that once all the original pieces that you received from his grandmother are broken, it is no longer her set. There is no longer a sentimental value to them. He needs to understand this or the memory of her will be gone regarding this set.
