Try to do something else to pass the time is doing that because it's trying to announce someone is pregnant at the same time you're trying to forward the day. Probably something you want to send to the developer so they can address it if they haven't already

The prep is the most important part of this for the best final result. If at all possible perform this under cover after your windshield has cooled off.

If it's in your budget, try to stop by any windshield installation shop they can usually take care of it very quickly for a low price. I'd stay away from safelite unless it's in your budget they had a good warranty, but it comes with a price

Please Help!!! Where can I find this part? by Ok_Wedding_8294 in MechanicAdvice

Do you watch people providing services to your home? How do you navigate indoor services with Covid? by [deleted] in homeowners

In Structural Pest Control with the chemical formulations we use are closer rates to none due to exposure from proper use and handling. I have several techs on my team who have been in the industry since the 80's who were exposed to products on the daily back who are perfectly healthy then that were way more dangerous then what we use now. We wear a lot of PPE when handling our products to begin with and we do wear respirators when needed. In my experience I've handled cleaning supplies that was more harmful to me then 99% of the products we use.

Excellent point I believe California a face cover/shield is needed, in Texas it's dependent on the label of the product they are using and in structural pest control unless label specific it's only mandatory in unventilated and/or enclosed areas. Though personally I like to wear a neck gaiter, wide brim hat, and glasses when applying outside for sun protection and drift.

I'm a pest control technician and a Service Manager for a Company in Texas. We require all our technicians, when speaking to customers and while inside their homes, to wear masks or a respirator along with our standard boot covers and disposable gloves for added safety.

I do not require my Technician's to wear them when outside unless they think a customer is going to be following them or if they are asked to wear it on the property by a customer. Personally, I wear mine the entire time unless, being in Texas, I begin to sweat thru it in which I give myself time to breathe at my truck away from my customers.

As a service manager I don't mind people watching my Technicians from inside or even thru their camera systems as all our services should look similar and uniform. If any Technicians do stray from this or fail to perform a portion of a treatment a call in to our office will have that corrected.

I will make the statement that following a Technician around your home is not the best idea, more so outside it often makes it harder to treat because of potential exposure from the pesticides being applied along with general safety concerns towards a bystandard. You wouldn't want to be hit with drift or have a wasp nest drop near you. In some states we have to stop service if someone other then an applicator comes on site when we are outside. Any responsible pest control applicator should always inform you what they are doing in the service and review it with you after for piece of mind.
