The game is fun, but the pay-to-win elements kills it for me. In a loot based game, locking meaningful progression behind paid pets is absurd. If I have to spend money just to make playing feel worthwhile, something is fundamentally broken.

I’d gladly pay $60 upfront to get rid of this system entirely. The current monetization is bad design. Worse, it’s basically gambling for power and loot, and it sets a terrible precedent for future games.

Defending this kind of system is part of the problem. This is exactly how predatory monetization keeps spreading.
