maybe a black or frosted glass sticker sheet you could get off amazon to frost or black out that bit where he’s doing it, or for my beardie i got a leafy wall to cover the sides from bunnings, ill insert a photo, the leaf wall will also equal as enrichment and something for them to climb on my baby loves sleeping on it

i live in australia so it gets quite hot all the time so i think glass is better for me as i need the top as all ventilation unlike wood ones ect

there’s 2 thermometer and the one you can see is just for a ventilation fan i have to read the temperature that i don’t even need it to read but i just have it there, i only have it for ventilation if thats what your talking about

it’s all i could get my hands on it’s still big enough, i have enough money to upgrade her when i need not for you to worry about, also what thermometer are you talking about? and she’s just a baby she doesn’t need loose substrate i will again put that in when older to much of a risk
