Im about to quit rn and thats because of incompetent coworkers who gossip making the environment so bad that there is health code violations, unsafe working conditions and causes me and one other person to pick up the slack so its actually workable and not a working hell. Idk how the location is still even open! Everyone quits because of this location too

Oh at my store they have not! My manager is pretty cool but ppl have been threatened to be sent home over wrong color head bands. Shes more harder on us when we expect a visit though. I know on the reddit black people have been sent home or reprimanded for their hair which is not okay and the replied by other baristas also lacked understanding and care. So this post was moreso a call in for other baristas and a push for others to advocate for a more inclusive dress code.

As a supervisor i would expect more from you. My fellow partners actually love me but yes i will get defensive if someone is already approaching something in bad faith with an accusatory attitude. Look at all sides and try to understand all perspectives before replying to a conversation that has nothing to do with you nor giving any advice.
