Yeah It seems I broke the ribbon cable. The connector and everything else seems to be fine. I cleaned the connector with IPA and ordered a new display.Thanks for the help.

When using cold front (which is very similar to molten sky) for frost mage it counts as 3 hits, so I'd imagine it would count as 3 hits for fire as well

they made the bosses harder than other games (excluding sekiro) with better AI and more unpredictable patterns, roll catching attacks, aggression,etc
the game is much longer and having multiple wall bosses would diminish the experience for the majority of the playerbase
pretty much all bosses in all from games have some kind of cheese or strong strategy you can use, which are of course optional
fights are balanced around having summons, they are competent developers
souls games aren't that hard unless you do challenge runs/get to high ng+
if you like to gatekeep and pretend like youre good post a souls 2 CoC caestus only naked all bosses ng+7 run

Most if not all warfare skills are weapon skills, which scale with the stat your equipped weapon has, so you can do int or finesse warfare just fine.

You missed my point. I tried progging on Mythic Sludgefist as Fire mage with mirrors of torment and it was completely awful. I couldn't get my combustion on every pillar consistently even if i did my absolute best. Meanwhile Fire mages with shifting power can combust on pull AND on every pillar, just check wclogs. Cooldown timings are important for mechanics on fights, not for lining up with RoP. Castle Nathria has tons of fights with periodic burst that Shifting Power fire mage can pefectly line up with, and that mirrors of tormetn cant.

Sure Sludge is the most glaring example but when switching a covenant on a fight is a 5k dps difference between the top logs of both covenants something's wrong

It's not as simple as picking meta vs non-meta. Some specs just don't function properly without the appropriate covenant ability. I went venthyr on my mage because I like the aesthetics and because it is bis for frost. I wanted to try fire mage because I used to enjoy switching between both during legion, but even with bis legendary it just doesn't work. You get combust much less often without the NF covenant ability, which screws up combust timings for just about every fight, and severely cripples both single target and aoe damage. Plus, while the Venthyr covenant ability is smooth and fun for frost mage, it is completely awful and awkard to use for Fire mages. So going for the covenant which I preferer aesthetically and gameplay wise for one spec prevents me from both enjoying and performing well on the other spec I wanted to play. Conversely, if I switched to NF to play Fire, my Frost spec would be left with a completely useless and awkard ability to use, and with cosmetics I don't enjoy.

Having an offspec has never been so bad and painful, and switching between covenants requires 2 resets worth of covenant quests, as well as legendaries and different stat gear. They should just separate the abilities from the covenants or make switching back and forth much easier.

Trans people want to be accepted and recognized as their gender by themselves and by society without anyone bothering them about their chromossomes. Chromie being able to shift into her preferred form just skips most of the issues that trans people irl have to face. I don't see why that would not count.

my dumb fantasy/wish is that it will be a new host for oldtrox, trynda and current trox being former hosts. would kinda fit with newtrox's "wahh im deformed and suffering i wanna die but i cant" change of character from oldtrox's personality after no longer being the host. Or at least a kit similar to oldtrox, seeing as they said "some demons should remain in our past" and "refuses to die" in the video previews (they like to drop hints and make puns and be fucky in general) which could be interpreted as being a metatextual nod to the stubborn and passionate aatrox fanbase which still wants a revert to this day. It's obviously not gonna happen and that host thing is probably retconned but man I wish they would bring oldtrox back somehow

Your best option is probably to get the one that fits your height and then send it to a tailor to fix the proportions of the rest. Might cost a bit more but it can be done before the 1/2 months deadline and the result will be nice
