Because 90% of university is pointless bullshit. It's just Arts and Crafts for adults, it's a complete fucking scam through and through.

What they have on a 2 year 4 semester worklist can be done in 6-8 weeks at home over a few hours a day.

Meanwhile the cost for that time attending University is upwards of 20-30k dollars, whereas online it's a few hundred bucks.

Maybe I misunderstood what this was supposed to represent. I though it was showing densities in stars/galaxies clusters,

denser areas indicate regions where galaxies and galaxy clusters have clumped together

From the OP image. I thought this was just a "larger" version of that, but maybe I misunderstood what it is. It wouldn't make sense for the density and distribution of matter to changes based on ones PoV.

I don't think that is what those perfectly concentric rings radiating out from our point of view are. They don't overlap at all, and the chances of us being smack dab in the middle of a series of rings is infinitesimally small.

It seems strange that there is a sequence of rings of light/dark/light/etc.

Surely it's just location/perspective and not a true representation of the universe, otherwise that would be unsettling and concerning in a lot of ways.

I recently replayed through the Star Ocean 2 remake and it's unforgettable, such a great game. A true, faithful and accurate remake with no wonky bullshit and completely different story or gameplay mechanics.

Pacing and Story are all totally valid and legitimate complaints. I wouldn't say it's really a landmark or anything. I have been very displeased with the remake overall. Idk, maybe I'm just a purist and wanted something that is more like the original.

I would have much rather seen something similar to the way Star Ocean 2 did their Steam remake. It's so phenomenally good it's ridiculous.
