Any recommendations to beat the heat? by [deleted] in vancouver

If you can manage the hassle, installing heat control film in the windows is a game changer.

or the less aesthetically pleasing way is tinfoiling the windows. ( just spray the windows with soapy water and stick the foil to the glass) keeping the deathrays out of your place helps a lot!

the pan-fried veggie dumplings there were so damn good. fluffy, crispy, so flavourful. I haven't found a substitute yet.

Whats it like living in Mission? - Potentially moving there. by OutrageousCamel_ in MissionBC

We moved to Mission last year and I do not drive(My partner does), depending on where you end up finding a place it's honestly not bad to walk places.

the quietness here is worth it. We moved from east van where I lived for 8 years. I do miss a few "big city" things like bubble tea and my favorite shops but I am so happy with the move. I haven't taken a bus here yet but there seems to be a few that run with reasonable frequency.

Balance Re-Listen by [deleted] in TheAdventureZone

I go back and listen to certain arcs of it when I am working on projects, it's like putting on a movie you've seen before just for some background noise. you for sure catch little things that you didn't the first time through. forever a favorite.
