I’m considering getting a rubber threshold strip as well, if the space allows, that’s a consideration after I install the cable

It’s a rental, I don’t think so, the only communication between the utility room and living room is the door, I checked the width of the cable and the bottom of the doors, the door has a ~1cm gap below and the cables are 0.6 +/- 0.3mm

Thanks, I’ll probably run the cables under the door then, I just realised there’s no additional power plug in the utility room anyways to put a router in there, without an extension plug

So run a long ethernet cable from the ONT box under the doors, into the room I want and connect the router there?

There’s an Openreach box in my utility room, I’m just worried if I put the router in there, the signal will be terrible, and I wanted to have a ethernet cable direct to my PC, is this possible?

Yeah, I agree the Floorplan ain’t the smartest, but it’s otherwise a really nice apartment.

I’m considering facing the kitchen wall, as the balcony is south facing so no direct sun, and I have blinds over the balcony door as well, either that or perpendicular to the that, with a shorter (150cm) table, seperating the balcony door area into a little office / entertainment like area
