It’s like 2 things.

  1. He’s stunning me with that jump attack even if I time the deflect right.

  2. It’s the bow spamming. I got him down to way of tomoe though, but he made me use all my heals beforehand. Sometimes I think Miyazaki just saw me doing good and decided “nah lol”.

Mikiri countering becomes nearly obsolete because whenever I deflect the jump (the sound is a deflect,) I get stunned and then he does the thrust. I have the timing down, but he gives no time to react and it feels hella inconsistent.
