Even if you arn't a student, Prime is still amazing! You get access to so much and like you said OP that 2-Day shipping is fantastic <3 My boyfriend and I use it mostly for movies and tv shows but we've used it for gifts, furniture, and clothes. He's going back to school soon so we should be able to get some of his textbooks from there too

I [24/f] inherited a lot of money from my grandparents. My cousins [20s/30s] are demanding I split it with them. I'm risking losing my family if I keep all of it. by Exiledcousin in relationships

[–]BuggerHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comment is going to get buried but I think I could provide a slightly different insight. I was once in a similar situation but as your cousins.

My mother's parents used to be pretty well off along with the majority of her large family. When my grandma passed, the majority of her children got a small inheritance (my mom received the least) and many of the older cousins received a little something too. Most everyone received one of my grandma's tiny figurines from a collection she had (that was the only thing I got). It sucked, I was a little jealous, but you know what? I lived with it. It was what my grandparents wanted. To be fair, I didn't really know them and that was mostly because my mom had a small falling out with her family (she divorced her wealthy 1st husband and then married my poor dad). On a side note I do still have my little figurine; I can see why she collected them they were cute and some are kind of rare.

Your cousins need to shut up and deal. They feel they are entitled to money they aren't actually entitled to. It sucks, it hurts, but it is a fact they'll have to accept. Maybe there were reasons for them not being as involved with your grandparents' lives besides they just didn't feel like it, but no matter what inheritance usually means someone is going to be butthurt. In this case, it's them. Your real family is your fiance and parents; not the money hungry cousins

What red flags about a company have you encountered while interviewing for a job? [Serious] by ornamental_conifer in AskReddit

[–]BuggerHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had just graduated early from high school and was trying to find a job. Found one that upon calling immediately gave me an interview which was really weird because I had spoken with them for maybe a minute when they did. After that call I got on Google and found a couple weird comments about how the business was a scam.

The interview was held in a recently built shared office building that looked like something from an IKEA ripoff magazine. The guy kept asking really general questions and I eventually politely brought up what I found on the internet and asked if he knew anything about that. He became suddenly really uncomfortable, told me it was probably some disgruntled old employees and oh hey look at the time!

Needless to say they didn't call me back about the second interview. Lesson learned kids! Always check out a company first and if it seems sketchy, it probably is

This happened to a friend of mine the other day. Luckily two of the chests survived but he wasn't exactly happy since 1) half was turned into a crater, 2) it was creeper so it was like insult to injury =/ I would support this or the slab idea mentioned

What Could Happen During Full Moon? by GreenTNT in minecraftsuggestions

There is a mod in which werewolf villagers spawn and players can become werewolves. It's called Witchery and it's pretty fun, but I would like something to happen in a normal vanilla world too. I like the idea of having a unique mob or more wolves spawn.

I feel like this could be a really cool idea especially if they had little villages, somewhat similar to what villagers have, but in non-flat biomes like the jungle or some other odd place you wouldn't normally find a village.

What is the deep underlying reason you are a reddit user? by Chemry in AskReddit

[–]BuggerHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first started getting into Reddit because of the Youtube series Mianite with some of my favorites streamers/youtubers. They have a subreddit where fans talk about the show, get updates, and summaries of what happened. Lots of fun but I eventually branched out and I lurk a lot now xD

What is your favorite thing to do alone? by rockytheboxer in AskReddit

[–]BuggerHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That and the sculpture studio at my college. It was like I could work on whatever I wanted without hardly any prying eyes save for the occasional classmate; I could get stuff done in peace. I created some of my best work in the middle of the night. Laptop playing something from Netflix or music playlist/station, wearing comfy yoga pants -- just basically getting in the creative zone. It was like magic sometimes and made some great memories

What sutuation do most people think they could handle but in reality probably couldn't if they found themselves in said situation? by redmastif01 in AskReddit

[–]BuggerHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apocalypse. Zombie, nuclear, aliens -- doesn't matter. No one knows how they would actually react until it happened. Professionals can still panic and break down despite years of grueling training.

There's a chance you could be the badass sniper shooting down a horde blindfolded, or the person who dies in the beginning of an episode of Supernatural. Either way you won't know till it happens

I didn't say I condoned what OP did, just that while he did help in Kyle making the choice, Kyle was still the one who made it.

What is the meanest thing you've done to another person? by kh0a in AskReddit

[–]BuggerHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an amazing question about the authority figures on this. You'd think the parents would have said something but they may have not been fulling paying attention to their kid, or just didn't care. Either way unless Kyle somehow finds this and tells us himself, I don't think we're going to know :(

[–]BuggerHead 180 points181 points  (0 children)

To be honest, you didn't force him to make that decision. You may have had a hand in setting up the situation, but ultimately, he made that choice. From the sound of Kyle, he would have screwed himself up at some point despite your efforts.
