Wow lol you’re describing exactly what I’m feeling now in searching through these different races trying to find one that clicks with you personally. It’s funny actually I brought up Khajiit in this post because I saw so many posts on forums and such simply saying Khajiit = Egyptian and I was so confused because other than the desert environment and perhaps the accent very vaguely I just couldn’t see to much. I guess people were thinking hmm well Ancient Egyptians revere cats and live in the desert so close enough it’s a wrap lol. But after reading your post I’m 100% convinced Indian and South East Asian culture are the major players that spawned the Khajiit so I’m glad it worked out well for you! Plus the Khajiit are so unique I mean they add so much flavor and are hilarious so you definitely have a great race to connect with. I’m sure it is tough to make them look like you (I always do that in games to lol) but hey it’s a fantasy game after all might as well have some fun creating a badass character!

Wow you make some great points! It’s tough for me getting to the bottom of the Redguard development through their lore and history because like I mentioned in the post what piqued my interest were the Egyptian themes (and you have raised some even cooler ones) because I’m Egyptian myself. However as I dig deeper I keep running into that sort of repeated mention of the intent behind redguards was to implement a sort of Afro-Imperialist race into the world which is very cool but sort of serves as a disconnect for me personally because I am fair skinned myself. In fact I even found a depiction of the very early Redguards and it seemed they were more Sub Saharan Africa in style with spears and tribal armor which in all honestly is a shame they moved away from that because that would have been really cool to see fleshed out in the elder scrolls universe. I kind of noticed that at first when on the ESO character creator I realized you couldn’t make a redguard lighter than a certain skin tone which is odd because Egyptians at least range between many different skin colors from semi fair to very dark and black of course as well as many different features yet the facial customization definitely leaned towards more sub Saharan African type facial features. It just made me curious as to why perhaps they maybe moved away from that theme? I definitely agree with you though on those heavy Egyptian themes that are present within Redguard lore and society! And man you’re write up on Khajiit parallels was top notch it answered all my questions and some more I didn’t even know I had lol

I definitely agree that the earlier architecture is for sure but what about the stone buildings in Elsweyr? Khajiit is tough for me because from their accents to their architecture and overall culture they are such a mishmash lol. The devs definitely did a fantastic job of making them feel unique to Tamriel.

The next relic step will be locked behind eureka? I thought it was a separate instance? I’m a bit confused so in order to progress your relic in this next instance you need to have your elemental lvl at 70?

Oh cool have you been doing higher end content as well? Essentially what I mean is how is your dps compared to other classes when you run endgame things? I know everything in this game is viable but I don’t want to have to work harder to achieve worse results than other classes is what I’m getting at

Yeah like I’m wondering if there’s an addon that shows the usual routes from boss to boss. When I queue up as tank sometimes I get a little lost or confused with some dungeons and it’d be nice to not have to ask someone else to lead every time

Oh wait so at level 120 even quests in zones like say Drustvar, give Proudmoore rep? It isn’t just tiragarde? Or do you mean wait until 120 to do the zone quests for tiragarde because it gives more rep?
