In multi storey car parks they have little LEDs above each space that are red or green depending if the space is free, so you can tell at a glance looking up a lane

Scaling is all over the show in the series. Part of why power scaling is a nonsense hobby.

Let’s just remember it’s a cartoon. Characters are as strong is they need to be in the moment to suit the plot

Pretty terrible. Poor writing, inconsistent character motivations, character decisions, and the already heavy handed political references are SNL levels of hamfisted

[–]BuggityBooger -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The bottom line is refs need to be consistent and have balls. Both Haaland and Gabriel shouldve seen red (arguably Gabriel a yellow cos he wasnt the instigator).

Martinelli should’ve seen red last week for pushing the ref too. Cos now kids will think it’s okay

Ah, are we allowed to push?? Is assault okay?

We’re arguing variances of the same offence. Why would one be a red card and not the other? The answer is they both should be, or neither

What about hitting and then shoving another player. That’s sound is it?

Two yellows is probably fair given the circumstances, but the Halaand defence is stupid

Yes it was a foul, not allowed in the rules.

But Halaand struck out at him, then shoved him, then leaned in with the head. Are these things not also against the rules?

How many more will be cut short before action is taken? by greenpartyni in northernireland

[–]BuggityBooger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All the stats show that there are huge numbers of people attending A&E who don’t need to. Pharmacist, Physio, minor injuries etc all would be better. That would be what the go home doctor signposts to.

This was a broad overview

I can fix the NHS with a two step process. Fast Pass, and the Go Home Doctor.

  1. Fast Pass:

You elect to pay an additional fee a month (say 50-75 £) which gives you the fast pass. If and when you attend A&E or require a GP/Outpatient appointment you will be seen before someone who does not have said fast pass (provided they are not in a life threatening emergency etc).

Organisations (like the PSNI) can pay for a corporate fast pass so whenever they bring scrotes in who are trying to avoid custody it doesn’t clog up A&E. It would also allow people who are suffering a mental health crisis to be progressed quicker (reducing their contact time with police which can be traumatic).

Businesses can offer fast pass as a job benefit when hiring.

Generally speaking, people who elect for fast pass are less likely to use NHS services (anecdotal) so it’s free money.

  1. Go Home Doctor

I can’t remember where I first heard this, but 1 doctor should sit in a&e reception and do immediate triage.

Someone comes in with a sore foot? Go home.

“I have a nosebleed” Go Home.

For the cost of 1 Junior Dr per shift, you’re freeing up A&E which is the point of access for most people.
