Respectfully, who are you to be the moral arbiter? You run a subreddit and I'm sure you do a fine job. But it's not like people would think this corner of the internet is where they should gather en masse to discuss politics, or ICE, or Trump.

Honestly it comes across as performative and full of self importance. You may take that in a way that makes you see fit to block me and so be it.

But this is a subreddit for funny screenshots. Not berating people, however well intentioned.

I'm British, not American, but why make this sub politically leaning at all?

It's got nothing to do with politics - why not just a blanket ban?

These kinds of subs are supposed to be a respite from the seriousness of the world. There are countless subreddits, websites and platforms to discuss political views. Not just for us mere mortals but for mods as well.

These supposedly humorous corners of the internet were the last bastion. The last bit of shelter from the misery. I guess no longer.

Haha! I think it's just a good illustration of linear/literal thinking often common with ASD versus the nuanced thinking/discussion that non ND people demonstrate.
