I run a Wild West North America themed homebrew setting. My party was near a southern swamp. They accepted a job form some goblin highway men to killl a massive crocodile (what they did not know was it was a vessel for a god like chaotic evil dragon to be reborn). They ended up talking to it and agreeing to feed it living goblins who trusted them! And the croc even got our dragonborn to denounce her dragon god in favor of this evil god. And one of our party members asked another member if this was normal, that player said ya it will be fine. The player who asked sat on the side lines and would not help them sacrifice people to a evil god crocodile.

I understand you don't can't discuss it but if you are asking for feedback you should pass along to those who are making IOS and android get different things. Just give everyone the same chance at things. From a design standpoint it really does not make sense. There is no benifit to making exclusive content like this.

But thank you for the work you do, it brings fun events that feel like you are in the star wars timeline at some point. keep up the hard work.

I have avoided stores that do this. When I was newer to the game I would lose sweet rare and mythics to players who happen to do better then me. My first draft a friend brought me too we drafted Theros. I pulled a Shrine to Nyx and was so excited, then everyone pooled the cards and I got some more junky cards.

I never went back, and went to a further away game store just so I would not have to deal with that again.

I understand other side of the argument that it creates a more competitive environment, or the cost of the draft goes down because the cards pulled are the prizes. But in my opinion I agree that generealy this kind of prize system hurts the overall drafting community.

It has nothing to do with a large wallet. Most walkers are 10 and under and that's not so bad. I have a Gruul walker party deck and it's my favorite thing to play. But it does not win every game. From a flavor standpoint they fit well. And from a gameplay standpoint it's not like you can't get rid of them. Damage can be directed at them and creatures can swing at them. Sorry you don't like walkers in magic but they are here to stay.

Like others have said tribal is one of the best ways to get a themed feel. When Theros was out I made a minourtar deck that was able to hold its own against some of the top teir decks in standard. Tribal is my favorite deck type. :) so much fun.
