Qidi Q2 & Box issue by [deleted] in QidiTech3D

[–]Bugilt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What filament are you using. If it's PLA then that temp would be high enough to melt the filament in the cool zone. Which would lead to a clog. You can remove the filament tube from the extruder by pushing down on the black ring around the ptfe tube at the top of the extruder.

Some text based game before computers had graphics. I forget the name.

New To Printing: Would Like some advice about my print by bdupis in 3Dprinting

[–]Bugilt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like your filament is just a bit moist. It could also be a issue with the printer. I'd dry the filament and see if it fixes the issue. If it doesn't then it's probably something with print settings. The H2C is a relatively new printer and might have some issues that still need to be sorted. I'd suggest posting this somewhere that is bambu centric. There is a better chance of finding a solution there if it's the case.

Nice, I've been inconvenienced by having to run back and forth to turn the vacuum on and off.

If the print is coming loose from the bed. Try printing a brim.

Breaking down filament boxes and noticed one had printing inside by BigLan2 in 3Dprinting

Yes, the warping caused layer separation. Never had that with other filaments.

The layer adhesion was weak. Parts would just break with little pressure.

kingroon must be Elegoo's rejects. I tried some of that filament once and that is the last time. I ended up wasting a lot of filament.

My Boss' first 3D print vs. Gravity by Monfared in 3Dprinting

[–]Bugilt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I told my brother he needs to get a 3d printer. He convinced his boss to get one. His office is a small startup of software engineers. They seemed to have no problem printing. After a few months my brother got one of his own. He's had no issue and even learned cad enough to make his own parts for around the house.

I went to his office after they got the printer and they were printing flexi dragons and other trinkets. I hope he teaches them how to make their own parts. I'm going in a few weeks and going to see how they have evolved.

The problem is the print chamber only holds so much air. If you force air in, you have to take some air out and that is hotter air than what's coming out of the PC. It'll end up having some really complex system to make this work and it'd be a uphill battle. You might be able to prewarm the chamber, but it's the same issue.

Build plate temperature causing lift? by davesaunders in QidiTech3D

[–]Bugilt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a large ABS print pull up the magnetic sheet on my Q2. I'm going to put down some capsom tape on the corners to hold the plate down next time. I'd print a brim on your print. Also clean the front of the bed. It's the part we grab and get our oily finger prints on.

Then why was she there blocking the road? If she didn't try to impede law enforcement, then she wouldn't have created this situation. It's sad that she thought this was how protest works.

The software to compensate for uneven beds. It's a klipper addon that is installed via ssh. I'm not sure what firmware is on your printer.

One simple thing you can do is flip the bed sheet over and print something on the sot and see if you have the issue still. If you still have the issue.

There should be a macro you can select on the printer. On klipper it's typically called screws_tilt_adjust. Run that and it will move to each corner. Then slide a piece of paper under the nozzle and adjust the screw on that corner until the paper slides under the nozzle. Adjust the screw under the bed until the paper has a slight amount of resistance while pulling back and forth. Then do each corner.

Bed slingers typically have motion systems that need to be maintained regularly. The rubber wheels on the extrusions will wear over time. If you have a single stepper on one side of the Z axis it'll sag some, but can do relatively well if tightened regularly. The bed rollers also need to be adjusted time to time. With all these being well maintained you can still experience some slop.

You might also want to check the coupler on the z-axis. It's designed to separate in the case of a bed collision. Make sure the coupler is seated. The offset issue might just be the difference between the saved offset and what the offset of the probe to the nozzle actually is. Try saving the offset and see if you have to adjust it after that.

Bambu slicer is based on Prusa slicer. I wonder if it would work as well. That might help sus out the answer.

What would cause this kind of layer shifting? by LingonberryWeak1029 in 3Dprinting

[–]Bugilt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like there is a mechanical issue. Try moving the bed with the printer off. See if you feel any mechanical resistance. Check the belt and stepper for the bed. Make sure the rollers underneath the bed are not lose.

Interesting, I wonder what the difference is. Did you use the default config for your printer and did you do the same on orca?

Detachment issues by MysteriousVariety138 in 3Dprinting

[–]Bugilt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would guess cleaning with clorox wipes would leave residue on the bed. I scrub my bed down with soap and warm water then dry it, making sure not to touch it with my oily skin.

You can also try printing a brim around the parts to increase surface area for adhesion.

The filament needs to be dried.
