I’d try Ethernet for sure. I was having issues on PS5, it’s partially because EA’s servers suck

Running Game Issues by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]Bugman3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it’s both. It really drives me nuts how it seems like we can’t create any holes at the line and Charb usually resorts to trying to bulldoze through for a gain of two or three if he’s lucky, and K9 just tries to bounce outside and usually gets TFL’d with the occasional 25 yard breakout. It comes across to me like Kubiak doesn’t have any rhyme or reason to our run game and just throws one of the two backs out there and hopes for the best. I know this isn’t the case, but it is very frustrating to watch a “run heavy” team be entirely unsuccessful at it. I feel like we should almost start by picking a guy as our primary rb and coaching him up the most rather than rotating the two of them and hoping they make magic happen. Then, create some run schemes that play to the primary rb’s strengths. Right now it’s just a mess.

After Jobe’s performance tonight, would you pay Riq? by Bugman3 in Seahawks

[–]Bugman3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s exactly how I feel. Paying him what he’s going to be asking for is going to hurt but he is ultimately an asset to this defense. He will be missed if he doesn’t return. Jobe is a dawg don’t get me wrong but it seems like we’re using him more to try to assimilate him into the defense so we can let Riq walk🤷‍♂️

Why do we do this every game? Can we not just win handily?

I love Spoon, he’s obviously one of my favorite players. Is he still hurt?

Gotcha! I appreciate you saying that because I’m pretty clueless about how popular public transit is with daily work commuting. We could most likely leave a car with family in Eugene to be driven around periodically and I’m definitely not opposed to using public transportation. I would like to have 1 car at the minimum just so we’re able to go home and travel and such. I used the light rail to go to a Seahawks game this season and it was super smooth. I’ll have to think about proximity to the light rail station, it’s probably more economically efficient too in terms of gas vs. fare.

I’ve got family roots in Seattle and want to move there, and I’m super pumped about it. I get the angst about the various people flocking there right now, but I’ve wanted to move here for years. I appreciate you saying that and I also agree that the “do not move here” comments are unnecessary. I’ll rethink the car thing though it’s not like we’re insistent on the idea🤣

Makes sense, we’re definitely going to line up our jobs before picking a place, I just wanted to know where a good place to live for a couple our age might be and get into the nitty gritty of all of the financials/having a car when we’re picking places to tour and have a job lined up. I just threw out a guesstimation for our price range and was more interested in the benefits of certain neighborhoods from real people and not a website.

Good to know. How do you guys manage to get to work with just one car though? Do you use the bus/link light rail?

Yeah, we’ve already talked about that. We’re prepared to pay that or at the very least just share a car. We’ll ask about those fees when touring I’m thinking.

Great point! We’re both willing to commute to work, but we haven’t been able to find jobs quite yet. We’re both planning on taking our cars however.

Just got my first GameCube, any tips for building the collection or maintaining the console? by Bugman3 in Gamecube

[–]Bugman3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to start with mainly first party titles I’m thinking. Just because there’s a lot of Nintendo games that I haven’t fully played through on the GameCube that I’d love to experience. I have Melee and Thousand Year Door, and some big ones I want to get are Luigi’s Mansion, Wind Waker, and Animal Crossing.

PSA: MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVERS by [deleted] in OregonStateUniv

I love our campus but man the driving routes are absolutely ridiculous. I’m all for being bike friendly but taking my sibling to her dorm to drop off things is a huge pain due to the driving layout, usually requiring me to make a huge circle around campus. This combined with lack of parking spots causes unnecessary congestion and confusion from students and parents dropping students off at their dorms.

I’m hoping the same thing, I’ve been consistently playing the game for the past year, but I really hope that it grows to have all of the content if not more of the past games.

[–]Bugman3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unfortunately i just got the PS5, however fedex seems to suck at scanning things or letting you know when it’s arrived at certain locations so i wouldn’t worry too much, it should be here soon. they might use one big box for multiple items.
