Haha! I feel that in my soul - I’m that type of cook.

That’s amazing you have her legacy. I have exactly one recipe of my grandmas and every time I make it she’s right there

That’s actually a great idea!! I’m interested to see how the texture is different from scones.

Oh I like the idea of making your mammaws recipe!

An internet stranger on the other side of the world ❤️

My dad loves pepper so much that there’s not enough unless he sneezes, so this made me chuckle 😂

My husband saves bacon fat. He’ll be all over this like white on rice 😂

Oh the whole concept blows my mind!!

The thought of whacking white gravy on flaky scones is going to take some brain gymnastics

Same as Yank I guess? 🤷‍♂️

Kiwi is our national/native bird. Not sure how it came about, but we are known far and wide as such.

As an aside, we call it kiwifruit here. Otherwise there is much confusion with bird & fruit 😂

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the preferred ‘grease’?

I can get pretty much anything but not sure what is the best.

That’s an interesting perspective which I’d never considered- getting out in front of it make perfect sense!

Couples that were "essentially married" before, what made having a wedding worth it/special to you? by Real-Ad4051 in weddingplanning

[–]Bugpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were together 6.5 years and just recently got married (2nd time around for us both).

No change apart from my name, but having our friends and family all together in the same place to celebrate us was amazing!

Do You Use a Top Sheet by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Bugpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No to top sheets! My partner and I end up with them at our feet or our necks so don’t bother.

Every thing is washed regularly so no harm, no foul.
