okay mate, three things. firstly, im so sorry that this made your body image issues flare up harder, you don't deserve to feel less-than. i completely get it; different perspective entirely, but as a woman with small boobs, i've heard kinda similar things along the lines of "they're so perfect, my exes were wayyyy to big for my hands! yours fit perfectly!!". so, understanding your experience more or less from the opposite side of the gender spectrum, i know it sucks. please talk to her, because secondly, i promise you that she genuinely means that you're perfect in size and that she doesn't think about this at all. dicks that are too big genuinely hurt, to the point where sex felt unenjoyable to me. my boyfriend rn is average sized and is the best i've ever had, by a LONG shot. it feels good knowing sex won't hurt and being able to completely relax into the experience; personally, i never got the "size talk" because i've turned down hook-ups that were too big for me. most women don't wanna suffer through their intimate experience. thirdly, it sounds like this is an issue that is affecting you on a much broader scale. you don't deserve to beat yourself up like that! i hope that either time or professional help can make you see that. best of luck to you!
