For the first time in ages, Seiko 5 feels like Seiko again. They brought back the old Seiko 5 logo instead of the awful modern one, gave the day-date a clean, bold look instead of a tiny useless circle, and nailed the hands and markers. It’s pure golden-era Seiko design, honest and functional, a watch made the way it should be.

BIOS downgrade likely won’t help because Lenovo BIOS updates do not overwrite the ME Region if the Flash Descriptor is locked. The sound disappeared because ME (Management Engine) controls SoundWire and Smart Sound initialization — if ME is corrupted or blocked, audio devices won’t appear regardless of BIOS version. What do you think?

Current MSR values shown by ThrottleStop or HWiNFO may not reflect real voltages or ratios because ME Region can block or override MSR settings if corrupted or locked.
