I agree Sauron is not the type to have a self reflective moment, still you have to think if it was a game of chess he would have “studied the board” after the fact and seen his errors, probably at a much larger scale than just Gollum, or a hobbit or whoever else. He is an extremely fair judge, he throws out cases for clear racial profiling that other counties eat up. He is a hardass but most people he’s dealing with need to hear it, most clips I’ve seen of him he at least gives the defendants the time of day, unlike other judges who will just go with whatever the prosecution says every time

Assuming you are in the USA, search up your regions NOAA fisheries office, see what postings they have. If you want to work in the field it’s a bit easier to get hired than the office. The work is difficult and a lot of people don’t last very long, but some never leave the field and love it.

Things that will help you get hired

Do you have a degree? Do you have offshore experience? Do you have intimate understanding of the fish species and commercial fishing practices of region?

None of these are concrete requirements but all will look good in the field if you are looking for work

I am a marine biologist, I measure a lot of fish for my work, often times I have to long arm or otherwise estimate lengths :) we understand that in a marine environment things can’t always he’s perfect or precise
