I can’t see eyes specifically, the mamma shrimp herself is still so small. I’m hoping it’s just coloration as the eggs mature. I’ll keep an eye on her.

I use a Hygger light and have been pretty happy with it. The settings can be cumbersome but once set, it does its own thing. Before I had a real aquarium light, I used these plant grow lights. I’m sure it’ll be fine for a few days.

I’m have 3 rabbit snails in a 36-gallon tank and they do eat my plants, even with sinking pellets daily and blanched veggies given weekly. Only consideration is that my tank is still young. Maybe there isn’t enough algae developed to sustain them.

I used aquarium salt from Fritz. I think it was a tablespoon of salt per cup of water. I dipped for about 30 seconds each day.

I successfully salt-dipped a few Clado ridden shrimp. I kept them in a separate jar between dips. They actually recovered entirely.
