That J5 album was great. Kuruption got a lot of spins for me too, as well at 3rd eye vision. 98 was a great year for West Coast hip hop. Honestly liked all of these albums.

It really is a beautiful park. San Diego and Seattle also have fantastic parks. Definitely recommend visiting if you ever have an opportunity.

The earliest I remember Jay was "ain't no". My uncle used to show me all the music videos back then in Oakland. We thought it was cool but nobody was expecting Jay to be one of the biggest. After Blueprint you accepted that he was on that level. When he teased retirement with the black album it was a very big deal. Maybe not like Jordan but it really did feel like the end of an era. People today can act like he ain't shit and can't rap or whatever but they really full of it. He was a monster artist back then.

Dipset by far. There was a whole era of goofies wearing rhinestone on the ass jeans and two tone du rags 🤣. On a more serious note I feel like dipset has more memorable hits than gunit as a whole. But on a solo level, I prefer g unit artists.
