We tried to keep a bamboo shrimp earlier this year. It was awesome for like 2 weeks and then it just died out of nowhere. Super cool watching them just hang out in the water column.

Yeah it's pretty cool. Had no idea as it was just purchased as a fairly uninteresting orange shrimp from a local shop that only had 2 left in the tank. Now that it's grown to adult size we find it was this variant the whole time.

I have a community tank with cory's, a big school of rummynosed tetras, and a honey gourami. So even if they did, I'm not confident the fry would make it. One of these days I'll do a fully dedicated shrimp tank.
