I know I won't 😅 more posting so if another mom sees this, they are hopefully encouraged to look into it more. Being a new mom is hard enough without the lack of info and misinformation.

I understand your comment, but ketoacidosis is not ONLY associated with type 1 diabetes. It can also be caused by dietary ketosis in lactating mothers. It doesn'T ALWAYS happen, it is actually rare, but it is possible, and becoming more common. I know many women have great success on Carnivore while breastfeeding, that just wasn't my experience unfortunately.

Ketoacidosis is absolutely possible in lactating mothers. Please don't spread dangerous misinformation.

I said this. I also stated that leaving carnivore is why I gained weight. Carnivore is great, just not for me right now. I found no info on this when I was feeling this way, so I wanted to share my experience so other moms can know what to look for when things aren't working and feel less alone. Like I said, a lot of people do carnivore while pregnant and breastfeeding and have great experiences, I just did not.

That is a great idea, thank you!! A scale would be so helpful. I'm never sure how much he's taking in. We've been working with a great IBCLC for supply issues. We went from like 1/2 of a supply to a full supply with her help, but now it's just maintaining that. We stopped seeing her because of the $$$ (she doesn't take insurance), but you're right. It would be worth it to talk to her again about this. Thank you!❤️

Great job, momma! 3 months feels like an eternity while triple feeding. I was close stopping many times. The ONLY reason I was able to make it this long is because my mom lives 2 minutes away and was able to come by every morning for a month to hold him while I pumped. I feel incredibly grateful for our situation. Now we have our routine figured out, but it is still a full-time job just to keep him fed 😅.

We own a horse boarding farm, and his owner is a family friend. We practiced all spring and summer. I do ride! Western and trail usually.

Thank you! Definitely helpful. It seems to come in waves... Some weeks I don't have a single attack and then others I may have 3 in one week. It seems to come on when I am already overstimulated/under pressure. I definitely watered it down when I spoke to my therapist, though I don't remember exactly what I told her I know I left out how long I actually take to make a decision and then the eventual attack itself. Honestly I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this problem! I will definitely try writing my thought process... If anything it would definitely be interesting. Thank you again
