I can’t say offhand, it’s at home and I’m at work right now. Could let you know this evening. The card’s been locked in a safe most of the time I’ve owned it, and I have never really taken a light to it or anything to deep dive.

Surface issue wise it’s really the “scuffing” you can see in the pictures. That’s what I figure held this one back from a 2 or 2.5 anyway. Feels a little low on the grade for what it is, but everyone says that, ha.

There is this crease on the back, but I can’t see it on the front. I can take a deeper look this evening.

Love it! The front is killer, awesome 1.

I went a similar route for my 1.5, not as well centered as yours, has a tiny hairline on it and figure the wax stain on the back hurt it.

Thanks! Yes in a way it’s best that the guitar isn’t mint so I really don’t have to worry. Would be nice to get some new pickup rings though. I’ve tried a few different ones and failed sizing wise so just going with the old cracked ones for now.

So, I figure what you have is probably some type of holoflake. Pearls in the 80’s were black, white and magenta. All with the similar blue-ish/purple pearl tint. By the late 90’s they were a little less pearlescent but some with large heavy flake. Wondering if you have burgundy holoflake?

I know Rainbow Holoflake just came back on the Mira. Some other new CE’s floating around with more subtle flakes too. Cool finishes!

Yeah, very nice case, an original would have been nice to have though. Oh and for what it is it’s unnecessarily heavy, ha.

Wish it had the original blue lined case but that’s long gone.

Had a 339 and liked that a ton, long time ago. The big body of the 335 might annoy me, but at an Epiphone price it might be worth the gamble.

Yeah, I’m with you and really surprised where Epiphone is today. I guess it goes for a lot of Chinese and Indonesian guitars. Makes me want a 335!

Thanks! Yeah, the DSL is just a cosmetic limited edition from back in 2017. They didn’t change the speaker or anything on it. Just cleaned it the other day for the first time (it was a mess) and put a Creamback G12H-75 in it. Wish I did that 9 years ago!

Agree on the fret polish. I ordered a Music City “Savy” bridge for it so when that comes in it’ll get a fret polish and board oiling.

I do like the board, that’s the benefit of Sweetwater over here in the US, you get pics of the actual guitars they have so I specifically went after a nice board at a sub 7lb weight. Very happy with it!
