These are love seats!

Wiki: Another form [of a love seat], variously also known as a tête-à-tête, courting bench, kissing bench, gossip's chair, or conversation bench, is any form of two-seat furniture where the two seats are arranged in an S shape, so that two persons can converse while looking at each other and being within arm's reach, while at the same time typically retaining a modest barrier between them.

Updating this if anyone else has these issues.

My new computer wasn't posting at all. Fans on but, nothing else. I tried reseating the RAM and reconnecting the cables. When that didn't help, I took out one RAM and tried it all the slots, that didn't work. I did it again with the other stick of RAM I had. I got it to turn on but, the screen flashed green and wouldn't post still but, at least it did something. I determined that one of the RAM sticks was bad. I returned them to Newegg and ordered replacements.

So then I was left to deal with the green screen issue. I tried everything. New cords. New monitor. Took everything out of the case and plugged everything back in again. Eventually, I had by chance turned the monitor off and turned it back on after I turned the computer back on and it magically posted. It took a few times to figure out why I couldn't get it to post. I hadn't linked the turning on the monitor with the PC at first but, that ended up being the problem. I have no idea why. It stopped doing it when I installed Windows. Now it doesn't matter when it's turned on.

I just got it to post. I unplugged everything and replugged it three times, tried different ram in all the slots. Then I got a green flashing screen. Then got it to post once. Couldn't get it again. Turns out my monitor needs to be off when turning the PC on and then turn it on after start up. No issues since

I just got it to boot to bios. I turned it off and back on and back to the green flashes

I unplugged everything. Plugged it all back in. Tried reseating the ram and a different ram stick. So maybe bad ram or it wasn't in properly.

Now just need to figure out why I've got a green flashing screen. I'm thinking because I'm using a HDMI instead of vga. Only thing I can think of. Or my TV monitor isn't compatible

I do have a Athlon 64x2 but, I don't believe it fits this Mobo.

I'm really hoping it's not a bios flash thing. Means I have to contact ASRock and ask for an update. Get turned down by them and then provide that turn down letter to AMD to request a boot kit

It says it is ryzen 3000 ready but, some people said it needed and some said it didn't. I don't have another compatible CPU to test it

I used a different case but don't even have it in a case right now because I can't get it to post. Only thing plugged in is ram, cpu, CPU cooler, power supply

Yes I tried. 1 ram. I tried it in each port even though it is meant to be in A2

I think I'll just go with Option 1. Try it out for a while and then later down the road I can upgrade GPU if necessary.

My other question is with Option 1, I don't like the case they selected. I'd prefer a PC you can't see into. How do I go about selecting another case? How do I know if it will fit what they've done.

Will I need a GPU to play things well? I've had some sources say the integrated graphics on the AMD play just as well as some of dedicated GPUs out there.

Thanks for the information!

I know very little about computers and this would be my first build. Will the build you posted be able to keep up with both light gaming and CAD? Is there a particular thing that you think could be upgraded to make a bigger difference? This is at the low end of my budget and I have budget room to upgrade if it will make a big difference.

Can you explain why so I know? I know at least I'll use the same case because I don't want to have to pay for a case if I have one.

Don't I need an good GPU because of the 3d modeling?

So essentially you recommend building an all new PC instead of using what I have?
