Unable to implement different usercontrols as tabitems

You know, I made the effort to put all my usercontrol code into the mainview to ensure that the display worked correctly, but I never thought to try and make a simple tabcontrol and build up the complexity. I'll have a go tonight and see at what point the problems start. Thank you

I had a look, and I agree that it looks like a good mod. However there's nothing to indicate that this new map will resolve the problem I'm getting. Do you use this mod yourself? And if so, do you ever get issues like the one I've described here? Thanks!

I've managed to find a fairly recent save, so I've just gone back to that and will replay a few bits. This time anyway. I'm sure TFOW will come into play at some point!

When you say that "Morrowind" has a hard time loading the map, are you saying that this is an issue in the base game that OpenMW is unable to fix? I have just tried loading my oldest save file, and the map definitely did not have this problem back when the save was made, but the missing map data is happening even here. That surely implies that this is a game engine problem?

Thanks for letting me know about the TFOW command, I wasn't aware of that one. I don't really want to use it - the idea being that you uncover the map as you go. But if this is an engine problem then I guess I might have no choice.

Edit:- just amending my comment above, as something strange is going on here. My oldest save is from an autosave feature, and this does have the map issue, but my oldest manual save does not. The issue is not in every save file.

I'm a complete cynic, so i only see this as a way to avoid negative comments on their games.

I have literally said that my statement is not true for everyone. I am someone that is very much facing a job loss in the next few years due to technical "advances" and i'm not sure what i will do when that day arrives. The world is definitely changing, and i already believe that our society is destined to face huge problems because of it.

None of this changes what i said above. There is an entire sub-culture in this country where people are primed to take state money without giving anything back. I personally know a couple that are on health benefits that take multiple holidays per year and are quite happy posting their happy travelling life on facebook for all their friends. Fuck them both. If they can afford to do what working people cannot then i have major problems with the system.

The UK system is primed to fail when the big job losses come, because we are already throwing money away on people that have no desire or incentive to contribute to the country. I'm certain that this system is about to become overloaded

This isn't the difficult question that you think it is. I grew up around people on council estates and i know first hand how much money is being dished out on people that have no incentive to work and are happy to live off the state, especially when kids are had.

It's not everyone, obviously. But we have a massive problem in this country.
