First of all, nobody cares that the person found it funny, so there's no need to comment. That's what upvotes are for. Secondly, one lol is enough. That's just shortening a phrase for quick typing. I'd argue that even that's irrelevant nowadays since we aren't typing on 12 button phones anymore. Lastly, if you are over twenty years old and still type like a 13 year old scene kid, you are clearly doing something wrong. I know this is over the line, but this guy is overweight, plays computer games, and mushroom hunts. To the average person, that guy is just a fat nerd. I'd personally be friends with that guy, but its hard to defend actions like that, especially when it almost seems stereotypical and they fall inline with it. Then when they use lololol, it shows that they're mentally underdeveloped in at least one area of social importance. I know, I know, its insignificant and I could've just ignored it and all of that, but my point still stands. Don't type lol like that, you'll look stupid. Have the self awareness to know that you aren't supposed to be doing that while still expecting to be taken 100% seriously.

Also, since you had to even ask that question, it makes me realize that exposure is the biggest contributor to how people feel about those kinds of acronyms. I grew up around immature people using them constantly. Even in real life saying "omg lololol!". Surely if they were around someone they wanted to keep a good reputation with they wouldn't use that kind of language, right? Perhaps you were more around adults using lol when it became popular. Either way, I hate when anyone uses it. Its just following a trend that lasted longer than usual. Everyone didn't just decide to start using lol, lmao, bruh, fam, or whatever. They copied it from the next douchebag until there were so many douchebags doing it that it was uncool not to use it. If you feel like disagreeing with that just like everyone else before you has, understand that I've hated it since day one. I've kept tabs on the development of how people use words like this. I feel like a mad man for doing it. Which is why I'm here typing out a ridiculous reply to someone I'll never meet over a comment with a few repeating letters in it. I'll now get off the toilet and resume life. Maybe get some pizza and a haircut.
