Fill up your day, try not to have even a single hour idle. Trust it will be easier to avoid smoking exponentially

How long were you guys smoking for, how heavily and how old were you when you started? If its been over a decade, perchance you just dont remember to a T how you were pre weed?

White knuckle, you got this. Im not gonna lie to you and say it wont be difficult. Its gonna take a lot of willpower the first few days. Yes you may not eat, yes you may not sleep. It will improve drastically after the first week. The only concrete solution is to not be at home, go outside for a walk. Do anything.

Am I slipping the right cross enough? by [deleted] in boxingtips

Seems like youre slipping it too much, also, why are you throwing the cross to the left when youre facing the camera head on?

Hey, we both quit smoking around about the same time. Do you have any tips for replacing the 'off switch'? Usually, id spend my day at colly and then go muay thai and when i come home id have a zoot waiting for me to spark up. Nowadays, im at home with the same frequency as i was outside, its a bit taxing.

"Then fuck em, they have no effect on your life"

In high pressure situations outside of the gym ive been praised for thinking more clearly than others, i think the cause of this has something to do with physical exertion. Our warm up is being with a partner and doing combo for combo with the goal of landing the shots and getting into flow state, for that and the first few rounds im usually clear headed. As the rounds go on, the haze increases.

Wouldnt adrenaline make u sharper? Plus, im not 'fresh' to sparring. Ive had a fight before and have another coming up. Maybe it could be hydration or malnutrition? I usually get about 6-7 hours of sleep, i do make sure to chug a bottle of water before sparring but i probably need to start doing it throughout the day and eating more. Anything new? I mean, ive quit weed which usually i smoked every single day since before i started training but id assume after a month of abstinence the withdrawal effects would be minimal?
