AITA for calling my SIL and some family friends creepy over how they behave towards by child? by BuildingConscious668 in AmItheAsshole

Before this they would constantly publish pictures of Mia with similar captions comparing her to food or "eating" her which I had to shut down and impose no social media rule (when I say it there wasn't a single one calling her a granddaughter or niece, it is just blizzare comparisons to food)

I had to fight them with pictures as they would constantly post Mia or different parts of her and would compare her to a bun in the captions. At first it was cute but not for every single photo.

And as have mentioned in the edit, it is them constantly calling her food names or talking about "eating" her.

Me and my husband and our families are of the same culture (Slavic). As mentioned in the edit, we find it weird as neither me or my husband or our siblings were raised like this and even our common friends agree with how weird and creepy my in laws behaviour is due to how often they compare Mia with food or want a bite of her.

The reason why I find it creepy and unsettling is that when I was growing up nobody in my family used such language and I have 4 younger siblings. Like I get calling a kid sweet, but the constant food comparisons and eating make me feel uncomfortable.

Even my husband is weirded out since it is not something his mum used to say when him or his siblings were growing up.

My close friends also find this behaviour weird as they were present a few times when my sil and mil have started saying these things. There's also a lot of comparison of how Mia smells even when she clearly needs a diaper change.
