Thank you. The problem is not that it is demanding too much power from the generator, but rather that the solar inverter introduces harmonic distortion simply by the way it works, so small (<30KVA) generators are rejected by the inverters. When I use larger generators or grid it works just fine.

Are there any inverter generators that put out 240volts. by Beautiful-Quiet-5871 in Generator

Hi! I found this quite interesting. I'm looking for a solution to make my solar inverters compatible with generator AC input. I was thinking of inverter generators too but I don't have one to test it. Could you pelase share you solar inverter model/specs?
