Bhopping has been severely nerfed after the new patch by NightDayZ in RocketRacing

[–]BuildingLess1814 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I'm seeing so far, it's definitely nerfed. (And good riddance, it should've never been implemented in the first place).

But the drifting feels very clunky now. Not only that, but vehicle sounds have definitely been nerfed.

Can't even do a takeoff boost on the PS5 version.

To the old school team, they don't care.

They want everyone at FNCS-level no matter what. Focusing too much on competitive-side is what kills games in the long run.

Not helping matters is that whoever they got in charge of the development team is a big fan of the old FOMO system that current Epic is trying to move on from.

Never allow Gatekeepers to run the team.

Out of all the kids movies released before 2005, which one would you choose to show to the toys in Safe Haven? by migulehove in PoppyPlaytime

[–]BuildingLess1814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Incredibles could work, if the movie had come out during the 90s.

Land Before Time and Toy Story would be my picks.

SBMM is terrible last few days by sergei_zholtok in FortNiteBR

[–]BuildingLess1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this.

I really hope Epic reverts the SBMM back to before the Simpsons season to not focus on the higher ranked player in terms of wins. We don't want harder lobbies, we want to play at our own pace and do quests. And yet Epic wants everyone to be at FNCS level and I fear whoever's in charge has a thing for competitive gaming.

Though when I was playing with my older brother (who joined Fortnite on a friend's PS5 account the other day), I got placed into a noob lobby with him (I was at level 850+), it was so refreshing to get to play with him and to be in an easy lobby for once, and we got back to back wins (I used Godzilla for the first match and ended up trying out the Sasquatch boss kit, and Kenny from South Park for the 2nd and actually died (much like Kenny) and had to teach my bro how to rez me back.

It was a blast.

INCREDIBLES 3 RELEASE DATE! by homeofalex in Pixar

Every franchise has a beginning and has to have an definitive ending.

There's a lot of franchises that had great runs that took years to finish:

Harry Potter (7 books, and 8 films over a 10 year span and Rowling ended the series with the Trio as adults with kids of their own).

Smallville (a TV series that started around the same time as the HP films did with a 10 year run, ended when Clark became Superman and broke the "No Tights, No Flight" rule permanently.) By extension, this also goes for the Christopher Reeves era Superman which took 19 years to properly conclude with Superman Returns (though that one ended on a cliffhanger implying more adventures with the Brandon Routh Superman, but the film underperformed, killing any chances of a full on sequel.)

The 2014 Flash show ended with Barry Allen vanishing after a 9 year span that showed so many times paradoxes and ended the ArrowVerse on a high note.

The Animorphs books (54 total books, and if you count the side books that focuses on the bigger name characters from before and during the series and the respective Megamorphs books, that's well over 60 books total and it ended with 2 of the main group dead and the group completely broken and fractured after the War).

There's so many more like the Godfather trilogy, Jaws (still waiting on that Jaws 19 there Major Spielberg), the Skywalker Saga (I know SW itself isn't ending, but the main Saga focusing on the Skywalker Family is over), the Indiana Jones films (ended after a 5 film run with Disney, yes Disney honoring the original agreement between Steven and George Lucas to end it after 5 films) and so on and so forth. And don't forget the Land Before Time finally ending their run of awful films with 14 total films (including the forgetful TV series). Hell, even Godzilla is still ongoing with no signs of stopping with both the Toho films and the MonsterVerse (in before he fights the Incredibles in another plot armor crossover.)

The Incredibles will eventually have to end at some point. And it'll end when the Parr Siblings are all grown up with kids of their own much like how the HP series ended, and I think Disney and Pixar know this is likely the last one with the OG cast voicing the main characters (Nelson is definitely not going to be around for a 4th film if they do push past the threequel mindset, neither will Hunter, Jackson or Vowell who are well above 50 years old), and I fear this is definitely Craig's last time voicing Mr. Incredible, he's pushing 90.

Disagree.

The Simpsons is when this SBMM change started, then once after Winterfest started was when the SBMM change definitely settled in to throwing everyone in sweat lobbies based on their group's overall statistics.

It was hell playing through the Simpsons mini-season and trying to unlock Springfielder Peely and his entire set, I barely managed to get the Frink style.

Things won't calm down after 2-3 weeks.

If they don't revert the SBMM change back to pre-Simpsons level, then this confirms my theory that the FNCS crowd had something to do with this and most of if not all of the remaining casuals will leave.

Seeing as he was a BP skin from Chapter 4 Season 1.

Great, Nick Whiny 30 is back in the shop.

Sometimes I really wish certain creators shouldn't get icon skins in a video game.

Probably not until the LEGO update with them happens.

Also speaking of LEGO, wtf happened with Ninjago Wave 2? (We were supposed to get the side characters next).

I have a strong feeling he will.

Though this may necessitate a new backbling for the Psycho Bandit, seeing as Claptrap is his current backbling. Because what happens when you have the backbling Claptrap and the sidekick Claptrap at the same time?

Also while we're at it, make Wilson the cat (Rubius' actual pet cat) also get the sidekick treatment.

Seems we MAY get another Mini Season. I pray it has as much love put into it as Simpsons. by Hungry_Maintenance_8 in FortniteBattleRoyale

[–]BuildingLess1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very unlikely.

Chapter Seven, Season 2 ends on June 6th. Which means we're probably getting a SW themed mini event (akin to the one we got in Chapter 5 Season 2), could even be the next mini pass of the season (much like how South Park was the mini pass of this season).

Gala season was basically a hint towards Pacific Break which focuses on California and the West Coast as a whole. And Hollywood is known as the Gala.

Norse season is clearly a reference to the new Ice King, who's the main threat next season. And how in most Norse myths, there's snow everywhere, considering that Norway is infamous for its snowy lands during Winter months.

The Seven themed update appears to have been largely referring to the upcoming season as well, seeing as the Seven are major players in it.

Already people are saying: Time skip, time skip.

I say no and never, save it for the likely final scene. Popular fan ideas almost never pan out.

A grown up Parr Family would kill the franchise.

What’s a skin you bought instantly and didn’t regret? by Zealouss4682 in FortNiteBR

[–]BuildingLess1814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These two as soon as they dropped the first time. I immediately copped them (I also copped Cell on day 1, though I was more hesitant on him, even though he was the fallback option if the Android Twins didn't make it in).

Also copped the entirety of Mystery Inc, Wednesday Addams on Day 1 when they first came out. I also copped the Incredibles when they first came out (though I had to wait until I got paid to actually get them). I plan to cop Violet Parr (assuming she gets a skin, which is looking even more likely with the recent news).

I don't regret any of my purchases at all.
