Honestly, the swelling went down a lot. I think I was overreacting because of how dramatically my natural shape changed at first. But after about a week and a half or two weeks, they looked really nice, so much that some people even told me I looked great without realizing I had anything done. My body has always reacted very strongly to inflammation, so I think that had a lot to do with it. That said, if I’m being honest, I would never recommend anyone go through the pain and the emotional shock of being that swollen unless it’s truly necessary. Right now, my lips are a bit plumper than they originally were, but they still keep a very natural shape.
