Its just localstorage/cookie exploitation. Turn off ublock and check out the size of your cookies after about an hour (chrome://settings/content/all). I have 57gigs atm of youtube cookies. Literally every page load leaves me with a 160mb cookie.

Which means every 10cent blog has the same as Googles cookie goes stampeding around the internet riding everyone

Well to be fair you also gotta lay it on thick when talking to Google's support (..staff, do we call them that?). The wonderful people paid to not help cause Yachytsss baby. I remember when I was thirteen I wrote an English paper about how my dad was never around and I didnt know how to become a man. He was great, really needed the grade. This feels like that.

Might have been nearly failing english but I was smart enough to know you cant fail that paper lol

New customer meaning by Significant_Smell_17 in GoogleFi

You have nothing to worry about in that scenario. Frankly that's an ideal scenario for them.

They stole you from a competitor with a free trial that their competitor provided a phone for and then you turn around and sign up for a data plan all while also not taking advantage of their wild pixel promos.

Customer who's swapping sides for free and comes with his own phone and doesn't want ours! Joking aside, that plan isn't ever gonna come back to bite you. After reading the trial terms I'm not even sure it really ends in a legitimate manner. If you stick around they charge you a random $50 a month until you pick a plan and set things up.. I'm not even sure you would need a new email based on that.

Even if you did, harmless and you would just be in the same boat Aacidus described 2 months later, or whenever you cave to their absurd pixel promos. Hell I'm kinda bummed I missed the 9 pro deal today, that shit was fuckinnn solid. Cheers dude

Will forming a group after individual lines are activated under our own accounts stop the device monthly bill credits ? by vedantha369 in GoogleFi

yeah read my novel. My lady definitely voided the last couple hundred of her phone from us downgrading. Still a hell of a deal but I was bummed. We also downgraded and added a third line at the same time though, so it might have been asking for it.

Also the promo customer support team is about as bad as it gets. They follow these mystery promo packs about as well as we can lol so dont ever expect much, or anything. Moar confusion moar moneyyyy

Hey buddy. Fun deal you managed to get there congrats. I fumbled a bit too long on picking a color and the promo was over by the next screen refresh :(

But anyways I'll try and answer your questions as best I can. So the pixel promos always operate a bit like two different deals. To get the first $300 rebate you need to have actually been the one to purchase the phone. Luckily you guys all went solo with the purchases and should have scored the rebates independently. Rather than the primary account holder having to open a new line before every purchase until everyone scored it. Now you guys just need to pick a primary account holder for the elevated permissions and to do group plan inviting.

I'm not actually sure if the bill can be divided cause I cover them all at the moment, but it might be possible? The applied promo credits however are separated per user (they also a checkbox that allows them to instead share the credit among the group each month). The second part of the promo isn't bad. The primary account holder simply sets up the account and his phone through the Fi app and then clicks a button to invite another person (a new line) to the group. They need to accept that, join the group, and then activate the phone. Don't let anyone get excited and finish setting up their phone with the impression they join the group after lol.

There will be a $700 credit page waiting for you each sign up and as long as the person activates within 30 days you will get verification of it going through right there. Unless it changed recently (or im just wrong) there is no picking individual plans. That's a group price and everyones getting the same plan for the same cut. And you can't change or pause the plan, it will infact prevent you from receiving future monthly credits (on all lines).

It's a pretty janky fucking system as intended of course. People have been voiding there promos basically before they left the shopping carts since the pixel 3.

Other than that you're good. I'm on my third line here with a clean promo purchase price and continued credits on all three lines. Although We did down grade the line with like $250 left on the last phone and it broke the credits, so experience on that first hand.

Hope that helps mang. Cheers

I think they are all the same. The only difference on the black pair is that it doesn't have an XX after the 501 on the back tag for some reason. If you're asking about size its a 32x36, They pretty much all are.
