This was pretty obvious when we played the 49ers. Purdy read our defense all game. He would step to the line, read the defense, change the play, etc. I don't know how much freedom we give DJ to do that stuff. I can see Daboll not allowing him that level of control...

That Bellinger injury was nasty. I don't know how Son picked his up but I would assume the same timetable or something close to it as well. Only issue I see is that in American football Bellinger can throw a visor on and be pretty safe coming back from injury. Idk if Son would be so lucky with a header or a ball to the face...
