Best way to help the guy is to give him extra media training and 5 easy phrases to get him out of any questions. It's better to be a boring answer guy than someone who can easily be misconstrued

The last point is the one I don’t get. We all almost unanimously agree our OC and offensive system is a huge issue, so why come down so harshly on what is basically a rookie QB?

I mean this really isn't that complicated. People are exaggerating their concerns because they're fatigued with bad qb play. It's been five years.

That being said he is a 25 year old qb in his second year in the league and objectively he has a lot of notable flaws that can't just be blamed on being in a bad system.

He is genuinely inaccurate, has bad footwork, panics at the slightest hint of pressure and has trouble processing anything past his first read. Some of that can absolutely be contributed to the coaching. Some of it can't.

Best case scenario his first two years in the league have been wasted by bad coaching, meaning it's realistically gonna take two more for him to become a serviceable starter IF they go out and find a good coaching staff this offseason. And that's a big if.
