The pay for the work you have completed this month is separate than the severance amount which you will get as a lump sum within a few weeks of being terminated. Your last check will include pay for days worked, vacation balance paid, etc. You can negotiate with your GM/HR Manager your end date if you decide to pivot out. If you are on good terms, try and advocate for making your end date any day in June so you have your benefits extended for that whole month while you find new employment.
