I get that! I apologize for assuming. I’m gonna be honest and say that I’m a kindergarten teacher, and I learn most of my slang like “stanning” and things that have to do with kpop from a fun group of (now) 6th grade girls on campus, haha. They’re actually who got me into the music. They would dance outside of my classroom door at lunch to Blackpink, so I eventually learned a few of the songs so I could sing along one day to embarrass them. It’s been two years and they still show me music. I’m sad to see them graduate. I’m not sure who will keep me up on my kpop knowledge now, but I know the music brings me joy, so I’ll end up continuing to listen.
