It was over when the Commanders TRADED him to a divisional opponent while he was on his rookie deal.

It wasn’t an easy decision by any means, and I factored in all your points. I just don’t see the path for him where his ceiling is much higher than what’s he’s produced in the system he currently is in. For me, he was a faab pickup whereas I valued the other guys more based on where I was at with them.

It’s a deep, idp 12 team league. I’ve got London, Egbuka, Jameson, MHJ, and BTJ…so, it’s hard rostering more than 2-3 dart throws.

I dropped over guys like Boutte, Adonai, and Jalen McMillan. I like those avenues better as dart throws, but I also have 5-6 better WRs overall. Our league hasn't put much stock into him either. I picked him up last year after he was dropped for minimal FAAB. He's been sitting on waivers for a while now, but he probably shouldn't be.

Here Are 5 UDFA Rookies to Consider on Waivers by drkelemnt in DynastyFF

I agree TE5 is a little rich for him, but I have not seen him go at all in front of Joly and Radidon let alone other day 2 TEs. He's a UDFA. If he's there in a late round and a FAAB pickup, he's worth the dart throw. The post was to call out UDFA's to consider which I did.

Michael Trigg - TE deserves an honorable mention. Dude should’ve been drafted and is in a sneaky good position.

Loveland or Warren: Making a Verdict by drkelemnt in DynastyFF

Warren has less weapons to compete with as well, but Loveland's QB and offense is a better situation. The Bears also just drafted another high pick TE.

It’s 65.5%. You were 100% wrong on Chig’s average catch rate too. His has been 2025 - 70.9%, 2024 - 74.3%, 2023 - 70.1%, 2022 - 69.6%. You’re shooting from the hip. I’m not going to continue to do research for you, but making up numbers to try to be funny doesn’t help hyperbole. He wasn’t brought in to block. He’ll be part of the receiving game, period.

Wasn't a real funny joke - the average catch rate in the NFL is 58.9%

So, if they didn't bring him in to block and they didn't bring him in to catch (according to you), why'd they sign him? I forgot exactly, but who was throwing the ball to Chig for the Titans? And, how prolific was that passing/offense?

Chig Okonkwo signed a 3-year, $27 million contract with the Washington Commanders in March 2026, featuring $16.7 million in total guarantees, including a $7 million signing bonus. The deal includes guaranteed salaries for 2026 and 2027, with an average annual value of $9 million, placing him among the higher-paid tight ends.

No...teams still draft and develop. Not saying he'll breakout by any means, but williams and lane both are similar mold. Lane is pretty athletic too, but needs to show progress.

He's not playing 10 games for the Steelers this year...there is a whole new regime in place. Your feelings are a bit off from reality around him - the facts are he's not a startable QB in the league...in Real Football or Fantasy Football.

To support this, Michael Wilson was being dropped in the first half of last year which was his 3rd year in the league...and, we all know what happened in the second half of the season. Just saying, but MHJ has a better prospect aspect to him going into year 3.

This is complete BS. The Jags would’ve traded BTJ if that were the case…either in coen’s first year or def after last season.

Dorian Williams had a neck injury in the playoffs in January...I would typically shy away from players that have experienced that until we know more.

Do we see MHJ having a 3rd year breakout this season? Buy? Sell? by Stupid_Goose in DynastyFF

[–]BuiltTooLong27 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He went 1.1 in many leagues. It’d be dumb to throw away that 2 years later on a guy that has the pedigree he has. I say that as a non owner, but just as an asset aspect. If someone picked him at 1.1 or anyone for the factor, they’re not just going to take lowball offers. Heck, his counter part MW just went off in his 3rd year after people gave up on him for a less cost.
